Franklin Hauck, 89, of 210 Green St., and a lifelong resident ofMifflinburg, died at 7:05 a.m. Friday, June 21, 1996, at the EvangelicalCommunity Hospital, Lewisburg, where he was a patient since June 13.

Mr. Hauck was born May 25, 1907, in West Buffalo Township, UnionCounty, a son of the late Millard f. and Elva K. (Hassenplug) Hauck. Hewas married Sept. 28, 1926 in Maryland to the former Anna AlbertaMathews, who died April 26, 1967.

Mr. Hauck attended the Forest Hill School.

Retiring several years ago, Mr. Hauck had served many years asmanager of the Mifflinburg Dairyman's League Plant.

Mr. Hauck was a member of Lodge 370 Free and Accepted Mason's,Mifflinburg.

Mr. Hauck was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, RR2Mifflinburg.

Surviving are two sons, John F. Jr. and Bobbie Arlee of Mifflinburg;two grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Mr. Hauck was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle B. Boyer andMabel Shaffer.

The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 25, at theJames l. Schwartz Home for Funerals, 247 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg, bythe Rev. Albert H. Heusmann, Selinsgrove, vice pastor. Burial will be inthe Hartleton Cemetery, Hartley Township, Union County.
